FHNW Aarau // 2007

For this stool or table I tried to use the torsion-forces which exist on every cube without diagonal bracing for something useful. The stool folds down by turning it on one side. So the space for storage is very much reduced.
The complicated movement could be controlled by a double angle. The angle also integrates a stop at ten degrees in the up standing position. So the stool is stable and gets even harder by increasing the pressure.
